What I help with
Loss
Bereavement, but also the losses that are harder to name: a marriage, a career, a version of yourself.
Grief has a shape that does not match the one people expect of it. It is not linear, it does not resolve on a schedule, and it often arrives late.
There is also the kind of loss that goes unacknowledged — the end of a marriage, a career, a body that used to work differently. Those get less room in ordinary conversation, which is part of why they are hard.
